ICEE Future Science and Technology Education Base Holds Evaluation Meeting on Industry-Education Integrated Talent Development Project

On July 15, 2025, the evaluation meeting for the Industry-Education Integration Talent Development Project was held at Tsinghua University by the ICEE Future Science and Technology Education Base. Attendees included SHEN Ye, Assistant to Secretary General of ICEE and Secretary General of ICEE Global Partnership Committee; distinguished experts GUO Xiaofeng and FENG Yechong from the research project of "Research on Industry-Education Integrated Talent Development Models" also participated the meeting. ZHAO Shuangxi, General Manager of Shenzhen Inspur Haiyue Human Resources Technology Co., Ltd.; YIN Long, Head of Ecosystem and Solutions; CHEN Ying and HUANG Xuhui, Heads of Product Marketing; and HUANG Shilan, Head of SaaS Business; these representatives presented progress reports on the project. The meeting was chaired by LIU Binli, Director of the ICEE Future Science and Technology Education Base. LI Chao from ICEE attended the meeting.

SHEN Ye first extended a warm welcome on behalf of ICEE to all guests attending the evaluation meeting. She gave a brief overview of ICEE’s mission and vision, as well as its work in research and consulting, talent development, and international cooperation and exchange. She emphasized that human resource management is a vital component of engineering management and expressed the hope that ICEE and Inspur company could jointly explore new AI-empowered models for engineering education.

Next, LIU Binli introduced the key initiatives of the ICEE Future Science and Technology Education Base. He stated that the base aims to collaborate with Inspur, using “AI + Human Resources” as an entry point to deepen industry-education integration and jointly provide digital and intelligent support for the cultivation of engineering talent.

Evaluation Meeting

ZHAO Shuangxi delivered a speech on behalf of Inspur, providing a comprehensive review of the company’s 30-year journey in the field of digital human resources. He noted that Inspur Haiyue Human Resources Technology Co., Ltd., leveraging Inspur Group’s AI capabilities, has served over 8,000 large and medium-sized clients and possesses extensive industry experience.

During the project presentation segment, CHEN Ying provided an in-depth explanation of Inspur HCM from seven perspectives: company background, product and services, business architecture, AI technology, market positioning, flagship case studies, and future plans. She elaborated on how Inspur HCM leverages a dual-engine approach of “digital employees + intelligent scenarios” to help enterprises and educational institutions build comprehensive human resource management systems covering the entire lifecycle—recruitment, utilization, development, and retention—thereby offering data-driven decision-making and personalized learning support for engineering education.

During the project defense stage, the panel of experts engaged in in-depth discussions with the Inspur team around four key dimensions: technological maturity, educational adaptability, industrial implementation pathways, and sustainable operational models. GUO Xiaofeng, drawing on practical experience from overseas projects of central state-owned enterprises, offered suggestions for improving the fairness of AI algorithms in cross-cultural contexts. From the perspective of industry-education integration, FENG Yechong recommended that the project place greater emphasis on talent development to enhance practical implementation. All evaluators actively shared their insights and suggestions, contributing to a lively and constructive atmosphere during the discussion.

The ICEE Future Science and Technology Education Base’s Industry-Education Integration Talent Development Project is a university-enterprise collaborative education research project, launched under the academic guidance of ICEE. This meeting represents the base’s exploration, under ICEE’s guidance, of integrating artificial intelligence into industry-education collaborative talent cultivation.
