Professor Tian Li has long been engaged in research areas such as urban and rural planning, land and housing, and the application of AI in the planning and governance of mega-cities. She has published 196 papers, and has published 25 Chinese and English works. She has presided over more than 10 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation, key R&D special projects, and major social science projects. Her projects have won the first prize of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award, the second prize of the Ministry of Education's Science and Technology Progress Award, and the "Gerd Albers" special nomination award from ISOCARP. From 2019 to the present, she has been continuously included in the "Top 2% of World Scientists" list released by Stanford University for six editions.
