YUE Wenze is a Qiu Shi Distinguished Professor and a Changjiang Scholar Professor appointed by the Ministry of Education at Zhejiang University. He currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Land Management in the School of Public Affairs and the Associate Dean of the Institute of Land and National Development at Zhejiang University. He has been successively selected as the Chief Expert for Major National Social Science Projects and the Chief Expert for the Natural Resources Ministry’s Science and Technology Innovation Team (in the field of territorial spatial planning). Yue Wenze serves as an Associate Editor for the internationally renowned journals Landscape and Urban Planning and Human Settlements and Sustainability, and as a member of the editorial board for important journals such as Chinese Geographical Science, Landscape Architecture Frontiers, “Modern Urban Studies”, “Journal of Applied Ecology”, and “Regional Research and Development”. His research achievements have won six provincial and ministerial-level scientific research achievement awards. He has been dedicated to the research of territorial spatial planning and governance for a long time, has published more than 50 papers in internationally renowned journals, and has been continuously selected as a Highly Cited Researcher in China by Elsevier for four years since 2020. He has also been included in the list of the top 2% of scientists globally for the years 2022 and 2023.
