WANG Yuke is the Chief Executive/Chief Engineer of Beijing Gugong Cultural Heritage Conservation Co., Ltd., and the Deputy Director of the Institute of Oriental Architecture at Nanjing University. He is also a registered expert at the National Cultural Heritage Administration.
Wang has engaged in cultural heritage conservation and research for 30 years, leading or significantly contributing to over 180 national cultural relic protection and conservation projects - notable projects include the restoration of Guangsheng Temple in Hongtong, Shanxi Province; the conservation of the Yuqing Palace in the Forbidden City; the full restoration of Yong'an Temple in Jingyi Park of Xiangshan; the preservation of Buddha statues at Qianfo Cliff in Jinan; the protection of the Liuzhou City Ruins in Haiyuan, Ningxia; the roof restoration of the main hall of Yuquan Temple in Dangyang; the protection plan for the Caves of Muti Temple in Wushan, Gansu Province; the preservation plan for Han tombs in Yinan, Shandong; and the exhibition projects for the Wanbu Huayanjing Pagoda and the Fengzhou Ancient City site in Hohhot.
