YOU Zheng, Vice President of Tsinghua University, Member of Chinese Academy of Engineering.

He became a faculty member of Tsinghua University in 1992 and was promoted to professorship in 1994. He was also a visiting Professor in University of Surrey, UK, from 1998 to 2000. In 1999, He was awarded a Distinguished Professor of the Cheung Kong Scholars Program by the Ministry of Education. Prof. YOU’s research interests include microsystems based on Micro Electrical-Mechanical System (MEMS), Micro-Nano Satellite Technology and Micro-Nano Technology for Measurement and Instruments. He was rewarded the Second Prizes for National Technology Invention respectively in 2011 and 2012 and the Second Prizes for National Science & Technology Progress respectively in 2004 and 2007.

Prof. YOU is the Chairman of the China Instrument & Control Society, Prof. You is the President of the Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology (CSMNT).
