On September 18, 2024, the Chairman of the Board of the Singapore International School of Bangkok Thailand(SISB) visited ICEE for a discussion. Attendees included Kelvin Koh, Chairman of the Board of SISB; Mun Ling Koh, Business Development Manager of the School; Tina Tang, China Affairs Manager of the School; Wang Sunyu, Deputy Director and Secretary General of ICEE; Xiao Hongying, Vice Dean of the Institute of Social Governance and Development at Tsinghua University; Shen Ye, Assistant to the Secretary General of ICEE; and Gu Hao from the International Education Research Committee of ICEE.
Wang Sunyu welcomed Kelvin Koh on behalf of ICEE. He emphasized that ICEE brings together top experts and scholars from both domestic and international backgrounds, focusing on cutting-edge consulting and research in engineering education. The organization is dedicated to cultivating high-level engineering and technological talents with global perspectives and innovative capabilities. He expressed hope for active collaboration between ICEE and the Singapore School in Thailand in developing international talents with a global outlook.

Kelvin Koh expressed his gratitude to Wang Sunyu for the warm welcome. He provided a brief overview of the SISB, which serves over 4,600 students across six major campuses. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum from kindergarten to high school, encompassing various fields such as culture, arts, and sports to meet the diverse needs of its students.
Xiao Hongying stated that exploring cooperation in international engineering education will not only enhance the educational standards and global influence of both parties but also contribute positively to cultivating talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills.
Shen Ye introduced ICEE's recent work from three perspectives: consulting research, high-level talent cultivation, and international exchange and cooperation. She highlighted the center's achievements in international collaboration and promoting global engineering capacity building. Shen emphasized that ICEE is dedicated to establishing a globally influential engineering education think tank, a talent training base, and an international exchange center.
Gu Hao noted that ICEE has a consulting team made up of experts and scholars in engineering education research, education management, and practical experience. He emphasized that both parties can engage in international education exchanges and cooperation across multiple levels.
Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on international talent cultivation. The visit of the Chairman of the Board of SISB has established a foundation for collaboration in sharing educational resources and facilitating international student exchanges, which will contribute positively to the joint development of engineering education.
