Participants from ICEE included Prof. WANG Sunyu, Deputy Director and Secretary-General of ICEE and Professor at the School of Education, Tsinghua University; Dr. QIAO Weifeng, Associate Professor in Research, Assistant to the Secretary-General of ICEE, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Education, Tsinghua University; Dr. SHEN Ye, Assistant to the Secretary-General of ICEE and Secretary-General of the Global Partnership Committee; and Dr. GU Hao, head of the ICEE Special Committee on International Education Research.
Prof. WANG Sunyu welcomed Madam Rosanna Wang and her delegation, and introduced the recent developments of ICEE. He emphasized that cultivating students’ practical skills and problem-solving abilities is the primary mission of engineering education, and expressed his hope that both sides would carry out cooperation in areas such as student capacity development, engineering education accreditation, articulation between secondary schools and universities, and international collaboration.
Madam Rosanna Wang stated that combining advanced international educational concepts with domestic education reform practices, and strengthening the implementation of engineering-related courses at the high school level, is crucial for enhancing students’ interest in engineering and hands-on abilities. She expressed her hope to deepen cooperation in this area.

Discussion Session
Dr. SHEN Ye introduced the successful experiences of ICEE’s global partners in educational innovations such as “Engineering + Intellectual Education” and “Engineering + Aesthetic Education,” which provide valuable references for schools in designing curricula that bridge different educational stages.
Dr. GU Hao suggested drawing on the U.S. model of secondary school engineering education to actively explore and innovate teacher training and student development models at the high school level.
This discussion laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides and actively promoted the convergence of more high-quality international resources into China’s engineering education sector.
Ms. LI Chao from the International Centre for Engineering Education (ICEE) and Ms. LIANG Yanzhi, Secretary-General of the Asia International School Foundation, attended the meeting.
