"Engineering Education for Sustainable Development"
Engineering education plays an extremely important role in achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). To promote high-quality and inclusive engineering education to support sustainable development requires the support of educational institutions, enterprises, funds, talents and infrastructure from countries. In order to achieve the 2030 UN sustainable development goals, we urgently need to listen to the voices from all over the world and actively take effective measures. In order to fully demonstrate the sustainable development of engineering education, actively promote the reform of engineering education and achieve the goal of sustainable development, the seminar focused on Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (EESD), invited experts from UNESCO, World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), International Engineering Alliance (IEA), university, scientific research institutions and enterpriser gathered online, to discuss the current challenges and future development trend of engineering education.
