Elizabeth TAYLOR, Deputy Chair of Governing Group of the International Engineering Alliance, Chair of the Washington Accord. She specialises in governance effectiveness and ecosystem analysis.Following a career in industry as a design and construction engineer, Elizabeth moved into academe, finishing her academic career as Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean, Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Health, CQUniversity.
Since 2013 she has run her own consultancy.Elizabeth has always engaged in diverse pro-bono work. Currently she is Chair of the Cambodian Children’s Trust Australia. She recently retired as Chair RedR Australia, an humanitarian response agency, and continues as Chair of RedR International.Elizabeth is an Officer of the Order of Australia, recognising her contributions to engineering. She is an Honorary Fellow of Engineers Australia, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Fellow, Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and she is considered one of Australia’s 100 most influential engineers.
