WANG Xiaoyun, the alternate member of the 19th and 20th Central Committee, serves as the general manager of the Technology Department of China Mobile Group, the chief Scientist of the original technology birthplace, the deputy director of the Communication Science and Technology Commission of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Vice chair of the key project expert committee of "New Generation Mobile Broadband Communication Network"  of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Meanwhile, she also served as the Vice chair of the IMT-Advanced (4G) promotion group and IMT-2020 (5G) promotion group, and the Vice chair of the China Radio Association. In presiding over the research of key technologies in mobile communication network, such as technology strategy, overall design, architecture and networking, she has won the Outstanding Prize and First Prize of China Science and Technology Progress, National Innovation Award, China Youth Science and Technology Award and other honors, and has made outstanding contribution to the leapfrog development of mobile communication industry.
