GE Jian, Qiu Shi Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang University. She is the Vice President of the Building Physics Branch of the Architectural Society of China, the Head of the Zhejiang International Science and Technology Cooperation Base for Green Buildings and Low-Carbon Cities, and the Editor-in-Chief of the international journal City and Built Environment. She has been engaged in the teaching and research of the basic theory, key technologies and engineering applications of green and low-carbon buildings and ecological urban areas for a long time. She has presided over more than ten national and provincial scientific research projects and engineering application, including National Key R&D Plan Projects, Science and Technology Support Plan Projects, National Natural Science Foundation, and Provincial Key R&D Plan Projects. She has published more than 300 academic papers, authorized 30 national patents, edited 3 local standards, 1 national standard design atlas, and participated in the editing of 6 national and industry standards. She has won the National and Provincial Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Industry Award, the National Green Building Innovation Award, the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award, the National and Provincial Teaching Achievement Award and other awards.
