On March 25, 2024, a delegation led by the President of Pathumthani University (PTU) visited the International Centre for Engineering Education under the auspices of UNESCO (ICEE)and had an exchange meeting. The meeting was attended by Nithima Yuenyong, President of PTU, Nurunart Yuenyong, Vice President and Dean of the School of Applied Medicine, PTU, Uthairat Muangsan, Vice President and Dean of the School of Business and Accounting, PTU, Gu Hao, Vice President and Dean of the International Graduate School, PTU, Rungsarit Sunan, Assistant Vice President of PTU, Chongkolkorn Singto, Director of the Office of International Affairs, PTU, XIAO Hongying, Vice Director of the Institute for Social Governance and Development, Tsinghua University, WANG Sunyu, Deputy Director and Secretary General of ICEE, and SHEN Ye, Assistant to Secretary-General of ICEE.

WANG Sunyu warmly welcomed the delegation and briefed the guests on ICEE from three aspects, i.e. consultation and research, cultivation of high-level talents, as well as international exchanges and cooperation. He expressed hope for  active collaboration  between ICEE and PTU would in engineering education to cultivate more engineering and technology talents around the world. 

Ms. Nithima Yuenyong, President of PTU, firstly expressed gratitude for the warm reception from ICEE and introduced PTU. She hoped to work together with ICEE to give full play to their respective advantages and resources in the field of engineering education, and actively promote the innovation and development of global engineering education.

The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the training of engineering and technology talents. This visit has brought new opportunities for academic exchanges and cooperation between the two sides and also laid a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation between them in the future.
