Yi Jiang, zhuangProfessor of School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, Director of Engineering Research Center for Building Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Education, and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. B.S. and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University. He is a member of the Energy Advisory Expert Committee of the State Council, a member of the National Expert Committee on Climate Change, a member of the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Construction, a science and technology advisor to the Beijing Municipal Government, the chairman of the China Refrigeration Society, a member of the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) Fifth Assessment Report Writing Group, and a member of the Board of Directors of the IEA (International Energy Organization) ECBCS (Energy Conservation in Buildings and Communities) Cooperation Program. He has been engaged in research in the field of building energy efficiency and has presided over the publication of the annual China Building Energy Efficiency Annual Research Report and the annual Building Energy Efficiency Academic Week, which has had a great impact on the cause of building energy efficiency in China. He participated in the research on the national carbon neutral technology and policy mechanism of carbon peak, and systematically proposed the path to achieve carbon neutrality in China and the related policy mechanism. He has won two National Science and Technology Invention Second Class Awards, two National Science and Technology Progress Second Class Awards, and many provincial, municipal, and ministerial science and technology awards.
