Professor Xudong Yang is the vice dean of School of Architecture of Tsinghua University, and the distinguished professor with an appointment of “Changjiang Scholar Program” sponsored by Ministry of Education of China.

Professor Yang is a fellow of the American Society of Heating, Ventilating & Air - conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and is a fellow and a member of research management committee of International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ).

He is the founder of the SCI source journal Building Simulation, as well as the editor-in-chief of the SCI source journal Building and Environment. Professor Yang also serves as a member of the executive committee and the China representative of International Energy Agency - Energy Business Council (IEA-EBC), and as a member of international expert group of UN environment Programme-Sustainable Builings and Climate Initiative(UNEP-SBCI).

In addition, he is a member of the academic committee of State Key Laboratory of Building Safety and Built Environment, and the chair of Clean Heating in Rural Area Working Committee.
